Old Rectory Killyman Wedding | Gemma & Stuart

When Gemma and Stuart got in touch with us we were instantly excited by their plans and that their whole wedding was to be at a venue we adore shooting at - Old Rectory Killyman. The Old Rectory's location, surrounded by mature trees and wooded grounds, provides a serene and peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal place for guests to relax and unwind.

OLD RECTORY KILLYMAN EXCLUSIVE WEDDING VENUE

The Old Rectory offers a unique and exclusive wedding experience, with a "one wedding per day" policy that ensures that the residence and its captivating grounds are exclusively yours on your special day. This private and intimate setting allows you to fully customize and personalize every aspect of your wedding, from the decor and theme to the ceremony and reception. Paul and Emma, the venues owners have a team that are the very best, everything is ran meticulously.

One of the highlights of a wedding at The Old Rectory is the opportunity to hold an outdoor ceremony in front of the house, surrounded by the picturesque gardens, we loved the beautiful flower arrangements created by the talented Sarah and Tiernan of Myrtle and Thorn which surround the couple as they said their vows. Gemma and Stuart's wedding ceremony was a perfect example of how stunning and memorable an outdoor ceremony at The Old Rectory can be.

With the beautiful Georgian architecture of the building and the stunning gardens as the backdrop, every moment of your wedding day at The Old Rectory can be captured in a beautiful and unique way. The intimate and private setting of the venue allows you to create a truly personalized and memorable wedding celebration that you and your guests will remember forever.

Prep for Gemma was from her parents home in Lisburn just around the corner from our house. The morning was relaxed and calm, with a stress-free atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the rest of the day. Gemma arrived at the venue in style, and we absolutely adored the car that she arrived in, which you can see in the photos below.

At The Old Rectory, we met up with Stuart, who was enjoying a Guinness with his groomsmen in the restored barn. The atmosphere was lively and joyful, and everyone was excited for the wedding ceremony that was about to take place. We then made our way to the front of the main building, where the ceremony was held - it was also so good to have Stuart and Gemma's dog Willow be a part of the ceremony and the wedding day.
