As wedding photographers in Northern Ireland, we always love it when a couple chooses to make their wedding truly their own. It's even more exciting when they select our favourite part of Ireland, the breathtaking North Coast, as their wedding location. Arianna and Ben's wedding was a standout event, with their ceremony taking place in a stunning field at the historic Dunluce Castle, followed by an intimate reception at Harry's Shack on Portstewart Strand. This unique and personal approach to their wedding day perfectly reflected the couple's style and allowed them to showcase the stunning beauty of Northern Ireland in their beautiful wedding photographs.
WEDDINGS AT DUNLUCE CASTLE
Arianna and Ben's wedding ceremony at Dunluce Castle was like no other. Instead of the traditional church or hotel reception, they chose to exchange their vows in the middle of a picturesque field at Dunluce Castle, located on the coast of Northern Ireland. The castle, which dates back to the 13th century, stands on a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea, creating a dramatic backdrop for the couple's nuptials. With the castle's ruins as their witness, Arianna and Ben celebrated their love in a non-traditional way that perfectly reflected their unique personalities and the beauty of the Irish countryside. It was a pleasure to have John Foley as the celebrant, one of the best out there and we love to work alongside him.
INTIMATE WEDDING AT DUNLUCE CASTLE
As a seasoned photographer, I have been fortunate to capture numerous couples photographs along the North Coast. Given the abundance of picturesque locations in the region, we were particularly excited to take portraits here. We could have easily spent the entire day taking photographs, but eventually, we opted to visit Dunseverick Castle and White Park Bay viewpoint, after a successful photo session at the cliffs overlooking Dunluce Castle. We had a brilliant time with Arianna and Ben and it was a very laid back and chilled out portrait shoot.

Arianne and Ben celebrated their intimate wedding reception at Harry's Shack, located on the picturesque Portstewart Strand, surrounded by their closest friends and family. This stunning beachside location served as the perfect backdrop for their special day after a beautiful ceremony at Dunluce Castle, and it was an absolute joy to be a part of it.
After the speeches and dinner, the couple decided to take a few photographs in the water, which made for a truly memorable experience. Harry's Shack is a hidden gem for couples seeking an intimate wedding reception in a beautiful location.
